Naani and Nitya Menon paired up for a Telugu film ‘Ala Modalayindi’ directed by Nandini Reddy and produced by KL Damodar Prasad on the banner of Sri Rajith Films and the film was running with houseful crowds.

Even before this film, the combination of the hero and heroine was proved a hit pair in a Tamil film ‘Veppam’ directed by Anjana Ali Khan and produced by maverick director Gautham Menon.

The success of ‘Ala Modalayindi’ prompted the producers to dub the film into Telugu and efforts are being made to complete all the post- production works as early as possible.

As per information the Telugu version of the film was titled ‘Sega’ and Naani is playing the role of a slum boy.
